Australia XV team

Is the Australia XV team that played two matches in November 2024 indeed the same team as Australia A? I couldn't find any supporting source for that assumption and this article about Australia A doesn't provide a source either (in the last sentence of the "History" section). I could only find the announcement of the two matches; not that it's the same team as Australia A.

It's important to establish this beyond doubt, because Australia A is registered with World Rugby as Australia's "next senior National Representative Team" and therefore is a capturing team. We need to know for certain that playing for Australia XV this month also captures a player. Ruggalicious (talk) 09:06, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
