[edit]All of the knowledge so far has been drawn from my own personal experience of living in England, London for roughly 14 years.Tourskin 02:35, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- Would it be better to change the title to Assyrians in Britain? Chaldean 14:29, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I suppose so, there aren't many Assyrians in England or the other countries so I shall do so.Tourskin 22:34, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

1944 Battle for Albania
[edit]The immigration history section mentions Assyrian participation in British forces in the 1944 Battle for Albania. The problem is that I can't find any evidence that there was a battle known as the "Battle for Albania". Assyrians clearly were involved, as evidenced by this, but does anyone know the correct name for this battle? Cordless Larry (talk) 10:33, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, the date has now been changed to 1945 and a link provided which calls the battle the Battle of Sarande. However, a Battle of Saranda article exists and states that it took place in 1940 and didn't involve Britain. I presume that the 1944/1945 battle was the liberation of Albania? - I've reworded so that it is no longer referred to as the Battle for Albania. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:07, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Given the confusion, I've requested opinions on the reliability of the source. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:18, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

New Church
[edit]Can someone add the new Syriac church in west london, it is a newly built church owned by the syriac orthodox church. also please mention that not all Syriacs/assyrians are Iraqis some are Syrians and there are few Palestinian, Iranian and lebanese families in London. Even though Iraqis form the majority, over 85%. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.170.144.254 (talk • contribs) 03:21, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Is there a reliable source that can be used to verify this? If so, I'm happy to add it. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:29, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
