"Death"

[edit]

He has been "confirmed dead" by sources many times before (for example[1]), we will most likely get a storm of people trying to add this fact again within the next hours, as there are rumours about his death yet again, but let's take it with more than a grain of salt this time. FunkMonk (talk) 06:05, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

He has been "confirmed dead" has the Free Syrian Army, and he is confirmed dead by the Syrian Regime, they are even page that say he died as a man,and this time his death is true,so nobody should change it again — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.0.200.186 (talk) 13:40, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The regime hasn't confirmed anything. I also remember how many times the Libyan rebels "confirmed" they had killed Gadaffi and his sons, months before they actually did so. I know the drill, after the claim has been proven a hoax, you'll blame the regime of "planting false rumours". But no one is forcing you to believe it! Nothing indicates so far that he is dead. At this point, this is just whishfull thinking from some members of the rebellion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RorionGracie (talkcontribs) 18:25, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lol. That is not how you look when you've been poisoned. In any case, you might want to look at this picture of Gaddafi:[2] FunkMonk (talk) 07:46, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

some sources says he was shot (for example[3]), syrian government , though denies it, they did not show him, as they usually do when they would like to deny an assassination of somebody, they did not show him on tv — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.125.81.96 (talk) 15:23, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seems they were lying all along, now he's dead. FunkMonk (talk) 17:13, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You are right FunkMonk, but the same group was assassinated just after two months.Egeymi (talk) 14:18, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

unnecessary deletion of sourced material

[edit]

User Raulsebrook, please do not delete sourced material, for instance rumours about his killing in May 2012. It is very significant if you read carefully. Also please do not put anymore info into the lead, and you may refer to related WP principles regarding the leads of biographies.Egeymi (talk) 18:03, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
