No Image

[edit]

The infobox looks tacky with the image missing like that. Could either an image be added or the infobox be fixed so that the image is optional? DavidRF 03:00, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Made the image optional in the infobox; don't think I broke anything in the process. We'll see... __Just plain Bill 04:09, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I took the image sitting in the article and put it into the infobox.Jacqke (talk) 04:11, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Restrictive clause

[edit]

User:Revirvlkodlaku: "its invention around 1823, by the Viennese instrument luthiers Johann Georg Stauffer and Peter Teufelsdorfer." Here "by the Viennese instrument luthiers Johann Georg Stauffer and Peter Teufelsdorfer" is neither a clause (not crucial) nor is it non-restrictive (crucial). It is decidedly restrictive since it says who did the inventing. If you disagree, please explain yourself. Thank you. Zaslav (talk) 05:27, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
