I still new to this "wikipedia" editing.

I am from Armacao de Pera and I have many pictures from the area. (Live in Canada now, but thats besides the point)

It has a large beach, over 3 km of sand. It is directly bordered by 2 different zones, Lagoa, Silves (where the town is) and Albufeira. At the far edge of the beach, approching Albufeira (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albufeira), you arrive at a nude beach. There are no buildings in this area for 2km (going towards Armacao) because the lands are "protected" dunes (and they flood in the winters...).

..I have a lot more, but if it wont be used, I will not bother.

Any interest, email daniel at simpletofind.ca and I will post a link to my photo blog with many details.

Oh, and finally, in the summer you have two distinct "rushes" of tourists, June-July is maily English (from the UK), (many other european contries), August is mainly portuguese residents from the north on holidays. This was never always like that when I was younger, and the only common thing for me was the Portuguese and German tourists.
