[edit]This page was either lifted directly from corporate literature, or the copy was created by someone associated with the station because it certainly is NOT objective, nor neutral. In fact, writing in the first person kind of gives it away. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.79.62.18 (talk • contribs) 08:47, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'll do something about that. (Wikimachine 18:41, 26 March 2007 (UTC))
OTA Broadcasts
[edit]Don't we list the OTA stations across the world that carry Arirang? For example, Arirang is channel 44.5 in Los Angeles —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.226.44.201 (talk) 05:02, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
North Korea?
[edit]Isn't Arirang the yearly "games" at North Korea? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.203.182.78 (talk) 14:53, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- Arirang is a popular traditional folk song (a few quite different songs from various regions of Korea, in fact) which existed long before the division of the country. It became especially popular after a movie of the same name in 1926, which was also before the division, under the Japanese colonial rule. That's why they often use this word/name both in the South and in the North. Ri hwa won (talk) 01:37, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Arirang TV (UK)
[edit]Arirang TV is available in the UK on Sky and is currently on channel number 522 on Sky and is under the News section for it and is called Arirang TV HD. The channel launched in the UK in 2016. It is news to me as I wasn't aware that Arirang TV was available in my home country of the UK as I have never been able to able access Korean TV before and I would love to learn the language. - 2A02:C7F:C283:C100:B035:CF27:690D:7CBA (talk) 22:16, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Lack of Neutrality in Tone.
[edit]The sentence ("Its flagship news programs feature timely current affairs stories, in-depth interviews with world experts and prominent individuals.") on the article summary, appears to suggest endorsement and may be taken by some as such. Could it be suggested that the article potentially remove the sentence as to increase the perceived neutrality of said article.Lamb104 (talk) 13:03, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
Improvement and citations needed
[edit]The stats about 144 million viewers, for instance, need more citation, for starters. I can say that about other portions of the article too. GoutComplex (talk) 20:01, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
