If memory serves, Loren Pope wrote about this place in one of his books. Does anyone have the full scoop? It's either Looking Beyond the Ivy League or Colleges that Change Lives, but it's been a while since I looked at either. - RedWordSmith 23:02, Apr 1, 2005 (UTC)
- There would quite likely be an entry on Arcadia in one of those two books. All the information here is from the website and a couple news sites. — Asbestos | Talk 08:12, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Denominational relationship
I made the school's denominational affiliation more specific. The link had said the Presbyterian Church and pointed to the Presbyterianism article; I checked the school's Web site and saw that it "has a relationship" with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Also, I'm creating a stub on Grey Towers Castle, so I added that link. — Ortin19 02:02, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. The current text, Though generally a non-religious university, it maintans a relationship with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is quite vague. If I have time I will return and do some research on the A.U. site. --131.238.108.244 18:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I added some information about when the Presbyterian affiliation began and added a cite saying the university is no longer affiliated, but I can't find more information than that. KKohn00 (talk) 15:22, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
ARC
It's good that you want to contribute to Wikipedia's goal of "attempting to make freely accessible the entire sum of human knowledge" but remember "Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Promotional articles about yourself, your friends, your company or products; or articles written as part of a marketing or promotional campaign may be deleted in accordance with our deletion policies" I would recommend creating an article just for the ARC and try to make it in the formal encyclopedic tone of Wikipedia. With a conscious effort "notable ARC programs" wouldn't be just as important as "Undergraduate Programs". What helped me develop a formal tone was reading ALOT of articles. Good luck!
Trivia
Don't get me wrong, I fully believe that the significance of the name change in popular culture is fascinating, but surely it can be incorporated into the existing article in a less glaring way? Perhaps add it after the quote regarding the change of the university's name at the start of the article?

General
Hi. I am a new Wikipedia editor, and I work at Arcadia, so I am trying to clean up and probably add to the page. So far I've just been updating some numbers and adding citations, with the great help of a work-study student. It doesn't look like this page has been very active, but I've seen some recent changes so wanted to introduce myself to whoever is here regularly. KKohn00 (talk) 15:11, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Study Abroad
I noticed the the SOAPBOX tag and did a little work on the "travel study" section (which I renamed to "study abroad" as well) before realizing that there's already an "International Programs" section. Any particular reason why they shouldn't be merged? Keenescout (talk) 05:46, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds like merging is in order. -Mabeenot (talk) 15:31, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- I can't find any information about the partnership with IICT in Russia except on the partner organization's website (http://www.lcstudies.com/inst/iict/iict.html). The website is so unprofessional looking, and there's nothing on Arcadia's website, so I am skeptical. I don't want to delete it, but am hoping someone can find more information.
