Shouldn't this be 'post-Rock indie band'?

It sure should. I've reverted it! Incidentally, four tildes (the wiggly lines like this ~) will add your username and the time and date to your posts here. Nmg20 22:57, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"At first essentially an electro-acoustic band with a brooding, spare sound later albums and gigs saw them develop a fuller sound which drew deeply on both indie and dance music."

is this right? there's a song from their first gig on "ten years of tears" and they sound like joy division!

Concerning the [citation needed] in the history section: Towards the end of "The first big weekend" Moffat says: "... later that evening Malcolm introduced me to the power of Merrydown - 1.79 a litre, 8.2% - mmmm....." Does that qualify as a source? Janlemmi (talk) 13:43, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Like fellow Scottish band The Proclaimers, their lyrics are sung in their native Scots tongue."

[edit]

Wrong. They sing in a Scottish ACCENT but they don't sing in Scots dialect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.4.235.42 (talk) 08:03, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 30 August 2018

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Move. Considering that there is no longer an article on the sexual device, there's even less point in disambiguating the band. Cúchullain t/c 18:46, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article on the sexual device was redirected

01:06, 27 October 2017‎ El cid, el campeador (talk | contribs | block)‎ . . (23 bytes) (-3,905)‎ . . (95% of article is OR, with no helpful sources. It is a type of cock ring, so there it goes)

almost a year ago. Actually OR might be kind... for much of its history the article has been spam. Does the sexual device exist in reliable sources? That's the first question to ask.

If so, then we need to ask, has any useful content on the topic ever existed in Wikipedia? If so we probably want to preserve it, and that means preserving its edit history. Lots to consider. Andrewa (talk) 05:04, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
