Polynesian?

I know nothing about this island, but the three languages spoken there (according to this article) are not Polynesian, at least not according to Wikipedia or Ethnologue. Why the reference to "Polynesian languages"? — MikeG (talk) 16:19, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
