Anthony Rizzo (baseball) → Anthony Rizzo – I suggest deleting the disambiguation page. In the past 30 days the filmmaker has 112 views and the baseball player has 10,000. There may be some recentism, but still, the baseball player is a clearly established star. Hoops gza (talk) 03:42, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support - this is a much clearer case than Talk:Paul George In ictu oculi (talk) 04:33, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support. The usage stats are pretty overwhelming, and there doesn't seem to be any long-term significance issue with the other Anthony Rizzo, whose article is currently a one sentence long stub. Recentism or not, that's not exactly the highest of bars to clear. Egsan Bacon (talk) 18:42, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Support - As stated above. The ballplayer will only become more popular. ```Buster Seven Talk 19:04, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

"What a good guy you are..."
[edit]MLB.com has a video of a discussion between Rizzo and home-plate umpire Angel Hernandez during Game four of the championship series. Rizzo is shown apologizing to the ump for "showing him up" in a previous at-bat. The umpires comment, "You come back and tell me that...that's how good a guy you are." It is a classic moment that should be included in the article...but, not sure how to best phrase it or include it. Advice? Buster Seven Talk

Yankees Uni Numbers
[edit]Once Rizzo chooses his number, someone should add in the Yankees section that he couldn't wear #44 because it is retired for Reggie Jackson and he couldn't wear his Padres #27 because that is Giancarlo Stanton's number.
