Date Discrepancy
[edit]There seems to be a discrepancy between the French page about Anne de Laval at https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_de_Laval_(Acquigny), and the English page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_de_Laval_(1505–1554), specifically on the date of her death: The English page states that she died in 1554, while the French page says she was still alive by 1572. Can anybody verify either date as the correct one?

- Fopseh, the way I read that french page, it appears that the Anne on that page is the half sister of the Anne on this here english page. See Guy XVI de Laval, where this Anne (1505-1554) is the daughter of Charlotte of Naples and married François II de La Trémoille. The french page indicates that its Anne is the daughter of Anne de Montmorency, and married Louis de Silly, which is also listed on the father's page. I don't know that family gatherings were any less confusing, since not only were these two half sisters named Anne, but so was one of the mothers, and that mother's brother. 1bandsaw (talk) 19:38, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for the clarification! That is confusing! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fopseh (talk • contribs) 09:52, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
