Lanišek never actually jumped 149 m anyway (only 133 m)
[edit]As it turned out, Lanišek never actually jumped 149 meters in Planica 2014, as published.[1][2] As Cene Prevc explained in Planica 2023 (RTV Studio) he and Lanišek back then (in 2014) both jumped 133 m, but from much lower gate than nordic combined skiers. Jury simply compensated lower gate with distance, adding them more meters instead of points/time, as there was no gate/wind compensation back then in Nordic combined. Cene Prevc's explanation on 24.2.2023 (see at 5:05). Sportomanokin (talk) 20:54, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
