I reworked American football in Western Pennsylvania#Collegiate, as it was almost exclusively Pitt-related and copied from Pittsburgh Panthers football#History.--GrapedApe (talk) 04:45, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have add more notable information (undefeated seasons, National Championships, notable coaches and games, firsts) and integrated what you had added into it. CrazyPaco (talk) 08:53, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Good work. Your stuff if first rate. I expanded the material about 1922 Rose Bowl and added a pic.--GrapedApe (talk) 15:46, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of American football in Western Pennsylvania's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "CFBDWAllPitt":

  • From List of Pittsburgh Panthers football seasons: "Pittsburgh All National Championships". College Football Data Warehouse. Retrieved 2009-01-29.
  • From Pittsburgh Panthers football: College Football Data Warehouse: Pittsburgh All National Championships: Pittsburgh Total National Championships, accessdate=2009-04-08

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 09:21, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
