[edit]Hi. I am reverting all of the recent changes from "American Airlines Arena" back to "AmericanAirlines Arena." The name of the arena does not have a space between American and Airlines. See [1] (note that this page has the title incorrect, but all references within the body of the text are correct), [2], and [3]. Please discuss here prior to reverting. Seating Configuration
[edit]Even though the Bank Atlantic Center is in the Miami area, can the American Airlines Arena hold hockey?--BigMac1212 (talk) 04:33, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Name Issues
[edit]Does the author of this part of the article think its material or anyone outside of Miami-Dade would ever care???... "American Airlines Center should not be confused with AmericanAirlines Arena as the latter spelling is distinct as in "American" and "Airlines" being considered one word."
As an outsider with no positive or negative feeling about the arena's name. 1. AA paid millions in Dallas to put their on that arena after they paid you millions to put their name on your arena. Space or no space- Arena or Center.. you and Dallas have an arena with the same name. It doesn't bother me, but if it bothers you- don't sell out your arena naming rights to a big corporation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.248.201 (talk) 02:24, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Sorry I am from Germany. For what stand or means FTX?

Naming agreement not terminated.
[edit]Miami/Dade County is trying to terminate the FTX Arena naming agreement, but because FTX is in bankruptcy, they need court approval.[4]. Article says the naming agreement has been terminated, that's incorrect. They have an "emergency motion" in the queue with the bankruptcy court, asking for permission. Hearing on that is on Jan 11th, 2023.[5]. John Nagle (talk) 04:43, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- Naming right has been terminated as of yesterday. This arena is now simply known as "The Arena". [6]https://www.nba.com/news/miami-dade-county-wins-right-to-strip-ftx-name-off-heat-arena CrownKing0wl (talk) 20:40, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
