This article is a hoax. There are no jewish communities in the Amazon, nor there are synagogues. Jewish immigration to Brazil is mostly in the South and Southeast. -R.Arden (talk) 17:04, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
@R.Arden: Don't assume that things don't exist simply because you have never heard of them. As shown by the abundant sources in this article, not only are there Jewish communities and synagogues in the Amazon, they are actually older than those in the South and Southeast of Brazil.
