Animals

[edit]

Did this train carry any animals? Does anyone know what the death toll was for them?

According to the article about Showmen's Rest cemetery, no animals died. God bless. CKB —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.147.241.223 (talk) 19:48, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Showmen's Rest cemetery article says nothing about the death count for the animals. It only says that no elephants were buried there, in contradiction of the claim that elephant noises heard in the cemetery are ghosts. 71.108.242.196 (talk) 07:39, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hammond Circus Train Wreck Actually Took Place in Gary

[edit]

The train was headed for Hammond, but the wreck happened in Gary, Indiana. There was a railroad tower "Ivanhoe" at the west end of Gary, near the Hammond/Gary city limits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hiawatha1995 (talkcontribs) 09:40, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
