A founder of morphogenetic field theory
[edit]I have reverted a recent edit, which labeled this as "pseudoscientific". I think this is not true, and I have added a link to show it. The previous editor was almost certainly thinking of a different notion proposed by Rupert Sheldrake, confusingly using the same name. -- Duae Quartunciae (t|c) 15:33, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Biophoton
[edit]"who originated the morphogenetic field theory and discovered the biophoton"
Actually, he called it "mitogenetic radiation". Calling it "biophoton" is the idea of later mavericks, and the biophoton is not accepted as an existing entity be the scientific community. So, I think it should be "who originated morphogenetic field theory and thought to have discovered something he called "mitogenetic radiation". --Hob Gadling (talk) 16:48, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Gurvich, Gurvitch
[edit]"Gurwitsch" is the German transcription of the Cyrillic name. Usually, English texts would not use it, and it looks weird to me, but he first worked in (then) German-speaking cities: Munich, Bern, Strasbourg, and I guess English sources used that transcription back then because the German sources used it. I cannot find any rules on which transcription to use. I guess it does not really matter... --Hob Gadling (talk) 16:47, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Are there any sources for this? Since he was of Jewish descent, he probably assimilated to the "official" nationality of the monarchy, i.e. Russian. 195.187.108.130 (talk) 18:51, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
