Surrey or Kent?

As to which Albury Albury is named after, I recall reading almost 60 years ago a book on surnames that stated there were at one time more than a dozen villages named 'Albury' in England. (Unfortunately, I could not find that book when I looked for it later.) However, most seemed to have slipped into obscurity, as we have WP articles about only four of them. In any case, the present lack of evidence for an 'Albury' in Kent does not prove that there never was one. - Donald Albury 23:18, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
