I noticed this article removal and wondered if this was the Irish Attorney General. I would have though him a notable Irish person. ww2censor 17:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This guy was/is an Irish High Court Judge and is currently a judge of the European Court of Justice, or is listed on the wikipedia ECJ page as a member.Rigger30 15:03, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At the time of initially creating page I didn't have a whole lot of information about Mr. Ó Caoimh and unfortunately still don't except to say that he was an Irish High Court judge and this makes him a notable personRigger30 15:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The same name was used by one of de Valera's Attorney General's see here whom I met some years ago as I know one of his sons. I am not quite sure of the relationships here, could be son or nephew. Eamon Ó Cuiv a current Irish minister is also related with just a different spelling. Looks to me like you need to do some research. Cheers ww2censor 15:23, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Carlossuarez46 has now started the page with info about the AG of the same name that I mentioned above. ww2censor 19:01, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The lede states that this chap was also known as "Ayindries Ó Cuiv". Should that in fact be "Ayindries Ó Cuív" (with a fada on the last "i")? Andrew Gwilliam (talk) 13:04, 4 August 2011 (UTC).[reply]
