Africana studies - exclusively about the African diaspora - are not African studies?

Dear all,

Just took out from section African_studies#University-based_centers the following US organisations:

Africana Studies Institute, University of Connecticut, formerly Institute for African American Studies^[1]
Africana Cultures and Policy Studies Institute
