Africana studies - exclusively about the African diaspora - are not African studies?
[edit]Dear all,
Just took out from section African_studies#University-based_centers the following US organisations:
- Africana Studies Institute, University of Connecticut, formerly Institute for African American Studies[1]
- Africana Cultures and Policy Studies Institute
as they appear to focus exclusively on the African diaspora, and so do not study Africa itself. Is this OK? Cheers, Hansmuller (talk) 13:44, 9 January 2023 (UTC) Hansmuller (talk) 13:44, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
