Civil Partnerships

I think most open-minded people agree that the new laws with respect to “civil partnerships” are forward thinking. But it is clearly the same thing as a wedding and weddings are already noted. It's inclusion is really just "politically correct speak", and redundant. I’m removing it not because I’m a homophobe (I’m not), but because it is, in the context of the wording, a POV. If wikipeadia readers want to beat the drum about civil partnerships, there maybe some place here to do it, but this ain't it. Jake b 18:19, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
