The spelling St Bartholomew, as opposed to St. Bartholomew, is the modern UK convention and an anachronism in this context, is it not? Varlaam (talk) 18:15, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
- It's not a question of 'anachronism'. The title as exhibited certainly included the full-stop, as given correctly in the opening sentence. Of course modern abbreviated versions may or may not include the full stop according to preference. Change whichever full-stopless instances you wish. Paul B (talk) 19:11, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
- You're misreading me.
- I don't want to change anything.
- We are just establishing that our artist, in his day, did not or would not have followed a late 20th century convention.
- (I'm Canadian. We don't follow that convention. In English.)
- Cheers, Varlaam (talk) 16:20, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
