March 2015 edition
[edit]This article appears to be written based on the October 2007 edition of the Navy's maritime strategy document A Cooperative Strategy for 21st Century Seapower. A March 2015 edition is available at https://www.navy.mil/local/maritime. I would think that an update to this article should be made that reflects the updated strategy. I wonder, too, if this article wouldn't be better named something like "United States maritime strategy", "United States Sea Services maritime strategy", or something similarly generic that is not tied to the title of a specific joint Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard document. It would still use content from the current A Cooperative Strategy for 21st Century Seapower document (or whatever it might be called in the future) and, potentially, other sources. Anyway, I am leaving this comment here to encourage further discussion. — Archer1234 (talk) 19:24, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
