Trainee list
[edit]Do we really want a list of all of the trainees in this atricle? May be it should be trimmed to those who are notable in some way.

I guess probably not. However, with enough effort, most of the trainees could be argued to within the grey area of notability, and it could be a bit of a job to draw the line. For instance, John Nolan has been huge at Chrysalis over the past few years; Amelia Jackson-Grey has had varying amounts of success around the world, and is allegedly an old acquaintance of certain members of the royal family; and most of us have IMDB pages, which usually points towards some measure of notability.
Overall, I think it would be nice to keep the list as it is - but that's just it, only nice. I find it fascinating, however, to have a list of all of the ARTTS Mafia, and it's very useful to keep track of who's doing what. ARTTS was unique, maybe even slightly elite, and a great deal of it's former trainees are rising rapidly through the ranks of some of the world's largest and best known organisations. If nothing else, any protege of John Sichel deserves some notability for their relationship with him, alone. 82.36.227.45 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.227.45 (talk) 15:44, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Iam proud to say that I went to ARTTS... these were happy times in my life! It's nice to see all the old names... I just wish we had all kept in touch!

Though its "nice" to see my maiden name in the list of ex ARTTS graduates, I don't think its entirely neccessary to have every name listed just because they knew John or have ties to royalty.
Linking to further online articles showing notability of graduates would be a good start even if it is to a page on IMDB page. I attempted to look up at least five others from my year through IMDB and to be honest had no success! I found only one name which was a possible match but I couldn't be certain and the one movie I knew he worked on (even before coming to Artts) wasn't listed.
I also think more could be said about the courses, how they were structured and some of the ideologies that John presented to the graduates. I could speak for my year - but I don't know how much of it changed since then? I have some photos of the place from 1992/1993 that could be added as well, though I'm sure there are better ones out there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TinaD (talk • contribs) 21:45, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
