Pegasus A reference
[edit]If the article discusses the co-launching of Pegasus A, there should be a link to this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasus_%28satellite%29 147.145.40.43 22:43, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Jargon
[edit]- The satellite was commanded off on August 29, 1968.
Could someone knowledgeable rephrase this to remove the jargon? Tempshill (talk) 05:50, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've added a tag to this statement. I'm not sure either. Mlm42 (talk) 04:21, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
- Fast-forward to 2013: Thanks to whatever dunderhead removed the tagged statement; you removed valuable info, namely the end of mission. Far from being "jargon", "commanded off" means exactly what it says: the satellite was shut off by ground command (we might call it decommissioned?) This marks the end of the mission, NOT the decay of the satellite years later. I hope I can find it in the history. JustinTime55 (talk) 18:11, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- I found it and just restored it. I would also like to know what imbecille removed most all mention of the Pegasus satellite from this article. (Same applies to the two successors, A-104 and A-105.) JustinTime55 (talk) 18:35, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
