Historical Inaccuracies
[edit]Multiple times I have tried to cover the true dates and events at which my unit 1-7FA was in Iraq. The 2008-2009 deployment was partially on the Victory Base Complex/ Camp Liberty with units detached to surrounding post. Majority of that deployment was FOB Prosperity. Operation New Dawn took place from 2010 to 2011 on JSS loyalty. It is a dishonor to my brothers that lost their lives on that tour and the multiple members of my family that were injured. I gave first hand accounts that could be verified through news articles for general information. Please for the sake of the memory of my fallen Brothers fix these inaccuracies. 64.113.175.145 (talk) 06:17, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
- I too can vouch for this as I arrived to the unit in September 2009 right before they returned from that deployment. I actually carried their bags to their families cars meeting them there. I then deployed with 1-7 FA from November 2010 to October 2011. Furthermore, on June 06, 2011 (a date that was Hell at JSS Loyalty), we were cowardly attacked and unfortunately we lost six fathers/brothers/sons/family, and many more were injured. Yet somehow, the wiki overlords refuse to acknowledge these events and refuse to acknowledge not the sacrifices that we made, but the sacrifices that the June Sixth Six made. Why?
