Criteria

[edit]
  • It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • Is there a word missing here? "This alarmed Trifunović, but he was not permitted to withdraw from border areas until the night of 7/8 April...", specifically should it be: "This alarmed Trifunović, but he was not permitted to withdraw from the border areas until the night of 7/8 April..."
    • also use of withdraw / withdrawal in close proximity seems a little clumsy: "This alarmed Trifunović, but he was not permitted to withdraw from border areas until the night of 7/8 April, and his withdrawal...", perhaps reword.
    • Perhaps wikilink fifth column? Some of our readers may not know what that is.
    • The language in the first paragraph of the "composition" section seems a little repetitive to me, specifically each sentence starts the same way: "The 7th Army"... etc. Whilst I agree this is difficult to avoid as it is the subject of the article you might consider varying the language to try to improve the prose a little.
    • Is there a typo here: "although but each formation..."?
    • I wonder if the lists should be punctuated per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Embedded lists?
    • "closing the ring around the remains of the 7th Army...", wonder if it would work better as "..closing the ring around the remnants of the 7th Army..."
    • I'm not an expert on foreign language sources but is the sorting of the refs in the "books" section correct alphabetically? Shores, US Army and Geografski institut JNA... seems incorrect, shouldn't Geografski institut JNA be first in the list?
  • It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    • Article is well referenced with all major points cited to WP:RS.
    • No issues with OR that I could see.
  • It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    • All major points seem to be covered without unnecessary detail.
  • It follows the neutral point of view policy.
a (fair representation): b (all significant views):
    • No issues I could see.
  • It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
    • No issues here.
  • It contains images, where possible, to illustrate the topic.
a (tagged and captioned): b (Is illustrated with appropriate images): c (non-free images have fair use rationales): d public domain pictures appropriately demonstrate why they are public domain:
    • Images all seem to be free / PD and have the req'd information / templates.
    • Captions seem ok.
