[edit]The 707 Special Forces unit is an elite special forces unit for the Republic of Korea (South Korea). It was formed in 1981 and its members are selected from other special forces units. Its selection criteria and tests are more strict that other ROK Special Forces. The unit is designed to be the better of the People's Republic of Korea's (North Korea) Special Forces Unit 8.
The unit was not "formed after the Munich massacre". That was in 1972. This unit wasn't formed until 1981.203.184.41.226 (talk) 06:39, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
