[edit]I was part of HQ 5th Marines from around 1994- 1998 so no war but wanted to say hello. If anyone has any good info to make a HQ5th Marines page I'll definitely add to it. I was Motor T Mech 3521 under Top Vialta & SSGT White. Literally just forgot my Capt. name, no lie I think he got Court Marshalled for illegal DRMO activities. Anyways just wondering if anyone wants to make a HQ 5th Marines page or Motor T 5th Marines page. ;)

This and the US 5th Marine Regiment should be merged and cleaned up. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by EagleWSO (talk • contribs) 11:21 UTC, December 11, 2005 (UTC)
It says the 2/4 is a part of the 5th for historic reasons. What are they? 65.165.30.10 13:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
The Global War on Terrorism paragraph mentions "In early July 2012, RCT-5 conducted a RIP with RCT-6, which was a historic moment since it was the first time in 94 years that the two Regiments have been together on the battlefield." However, the article previously states, "RCT-5 was camped in Camp Fallujah under the command of I Marine Expeditionary Force(Fwd) until January 2007 when they were relieved in place by the 6th Marine Regiment (RCT 6)" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.53.46.143 (talk) 05:12, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
