Fact check
[edit]Hello Colanao Khod, please get your facts straight. Tyla is the sole leader of the nomination list per sources you've cited. Although, she is leading by 7, they say it's 5 (excluding 2 nominations announced in mid-August), and Kabza is 4. So, please. I plan on getting this article to GA after the ceremony. dxneo (talk) 20:01, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- As per source cited Tyla is leading (remember it only counts nominations announced on September 27), however if you count public voting nominations announced last month plus the recent one are equivalent to Kabza De Small Colanao Khod (talk) 20:10, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- On the nominations, I can only count 4 Kabza noms and 5 Tyla noms. Sources say Tyla is the sole leader, going against the sources is very discouraged per WP:OR. But it's okay, I'll rewrite everything after the ceremony. dxneo (talk) 00:08, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Do your research the nominations list is incomplete, Isimo is nominated for Best Amapiano Album, Duo/Group of the Year, Album of the Year secondly under Motsepe Foundation Record of the Year he got three for nominations and lastly 1 Best Collaboration nom which makes a total of 7 Colanao Khod (talk) 03:11, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Where are the sources for this statement? Because we can all see that source say Tyla is the sole leader. Anyway, I'll come back here after the ceremony. Maybe I'll help you get it to GA. dxneo (talk) 08:52, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Source titled Tyla is leads the nominees refers to categories revealed lastly, however if we count her noms together with public voting categories they both lead with Kabza De Small. I hope its clear this time Colanao Khod (talk) 15:28, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- It doesn't clear anything and I'm definitely not gonna engage in edit wars with you although I know you'd lose if this ended up in the hands of admins. The sources are definitely on my side. On 14 August, only 2 categories were announced, and now Kabza landed 4, which sums up to 6. However, I wanna help you get your first GA, so I will not argue any further. And for me or us to get this to GA, content must be verifiable, meaning a lot will change, including what we are discussing now. Hope you understand. dxneo (talk) 10:16, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Another thing, I noticed you like creating these kind of articles. So would you please clean them up after creating them, and maintain them. The wikilinks, MOS and punctuation, you always miss those kind of stuff. It is not "SAMPRA Album of the Year", it is "Album of the Year (presented by SAMPRA)". Just thought I should let you know. dxneo (talk) 10:22, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Do whatever you want to do, am not up for arguments Colanao Khod (talk) 10:44, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

The 30th Annual South African Music Awards celebrated the best albums, songs, and music videos. Tyla was the biggest winner of the event. Hosted by Minnie Dlamini, it featured performers from the likes of Nasty C. Every winner was awarded a prize fund for that specific award. Special pings for peer reviewers, PSA and Medxvo. dxneo (talk) 11:28, 29 November 2024 (UTC) Medxvo[edit]Most of my concerns were previously addressed during the PR, but I want to add some comments
