my Grandfather was one of the casualties at Ft Butler.

His name was Harris S Mitchell and he left a son and pregnant wife back in Maine. She remarried and moved the family to Minnesota and eventually Washington state where I reside. Harris two sons are buried in Everett Washington. John Mitchell
