Melbourne's Kate Hore kicked a goal after marking a long-range shot from Harris, who needed to lift to avoid becoming the first woman to lose three grand finals against Adelaide playing for three different teams. – I'm not a fan of "needed to lift" considering Australian rules football is a team game and not reliant on the performance of any single player. The match was broadcast by the Seven Network and simulcast on Foxtel, Kayo Sports, the afl.com.au and womens.afl websites, and on the AFL and AFLW apps.
