Seat changing allegiance and seats changed due to alliance agreements
[edit]Seats changing allegiance and seats changed due to alliance agreements are different. Any disagreements has to be discussed here before emptying a section. A user User:PenGear is constantly removing contructive edits to two different sections. I have rolled back to the msot contructive version. ABGOne (talk) 06:21, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- A seat changes allegiance if the elected MP is of a different party than the incumbent MP. PenGear (talk) 06:23, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- I disagree. That is true for seat changing allegiance, however you are emptying out a whole other section for seat changing due to party alliances agreements. Please follow WP:Goodfaith and provide constructive edits. ABGOne (talk) 06:26, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- A seat change is a seat change. If the parties are no longer in alliance the constituency has still changed allegiance. There is no need to classify it as two different things. Also please explain how I am violating Wikipedia:Goodfaith and how my edits are not constructive? PenGear (talk) 06:29, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- First of all please follow WP:calm. You are explaining your answer yourself. A seat change is a seat change and the new section shows it as a seat change too. However seat changing due to seat sharing agreements between any of the same alliances and parties and different alliances and parties are two different things and different sections. Your edits are Wikipedia:Blanking sections and remobing an entire section. and you have broken WP:3RR which is why it is not constructive. You are edit warring upto to the point of WP:Vandalism
- You're creating another section for something that does not need to be created. We already have a section for allegiance changes. The section you created seems to highlight the five-party alliance for no reason and I do not believe that it is necessary to have a separate section just for them. You are also reverting the page to a point in time where many more edits have been done. If you think I am violating any rule than please feel free to report me I will respect any decision by an administrator. I have in no way vandalized the page and you can claim anything you like.PenGear (talk) 06:47, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- That is incorrect. I am not highlighting anything. I have included all alliances parties including Congress, UML Swotantra etc. So all parties and alliances have been includes. The two sections are entirely different so do not blank it please. You have violated many rules already. ABGOne (talk) 00:26, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- If I have violated any rules then report me. I do not believe the creation of a new section is necessary. I have added notes for seats that changed allegiance between alliance members. I think that serves the same purpose. PenGear (talk) 00:40, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
