Spencer Stone invited to SOU
[edit]Spencer Stone has been invited to attend the 2016 State of the Union as one of Michelle Obama's guests. Stone is one of the passengers who helped subdue an armed assailant in August 2015 on board a Paris-bound train, and who subsequently received the Legion d'Honneur from French President Hollande in gratitude for his role in the 2015 Thalys train attack. I'm not sure if a mention belongs in this article, but information about the invitation is available. Mathglot (talk) 06:54, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- Muslim congressman Keith Ellison brings in a Syrian refugee and suggests that Paul Ryan do this also. Instead, Paul Ryan tweets: "Meet my #SOTU guests [Catholic nuns] Sister Veit & Sister Marguire. Seeking relief from the health care law." -- Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 00:54, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
