2014 Argentine Primera División season → 2014 Argentine Primera División – This season only encompasses one league tournament like the 2014–15 Premier League or 2014–15 La Liga. The "season" should be dropped from the article name. The original argument for adding the word "season" at the end of the article title was because some seasons had two champions and two tournaments played in one season. However, as I said before, this season only consists of one league tournament. The move would create inconsistent titles, however, I believe that while we are discussing the matter, we should remove the word "season" from all the Argentine Primera División season articles. As mentioned before, the Premier League and La Liga do not follow this practice. MicroX (talk) 22:43, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

- Oppose - per Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/League season there will be multiple championships decided this calendar year. The season at the end of the title acts as a disambiguator as this article is only covering the Torneo de Transición and not the Torneo Final or the Superfinal which were both were decided in 2014. 04:23, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Comment – Your argument doesn't make sense to me. There will not be multiple championships in this so-called season. The 2013–14 season ended in May 2014. In fact this isn't really a season, just a single tournament to fill in between July and February as the new season starts in February and will run until December (i.e. no more European-style calendar). The Inicial/Final have ended their run. Source. I'd also like to point out that the "season" diambiguator is bad practice. It creates inconsistency across all football article season titles. The format of a league shouldn't determine whether season gets slapped onto an article name or not. --MicroX (talk) 15:53, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
