Parliamentary electoral system

[edit]

If I can rely on the electoral code of 2012 on the website of ELECAM (section 152), the parliamentary electoral system is as follows:

- in districts with only one seat, first past the post ('one round majority')

- in other districts: a mixed system: if one party has a majority of votes, it wins all the seats, if not, it wins half the seas (rounded up), while the other seats are apportioned proportionally among all other lists winning 5% (without the list already winning half the seats)

Voters can only choose among closed lists.--Bancki (talk) 20:54, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Full results

[edit]

Hello @Number 57:. I've found the full final results on the cameroonian electoral commission website here. The data is on page 90. I'm currently updating the french page, if the links can help. The 2013 report has been uploaded barely a month ago, so there's hope the 2020 one will eventually be added as well. They also added the 2013 and 2018 senate election, likely because the next ones are tomorrow. They're indirect, though, so I don't know if that interest you. I already updated the french pages, if so. Have a great day. Aréat (talk) 00:01, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Aréat: Thanks! I have updated the results table in full. Cheers, Number 57 00:34, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
