Undiscussed page move
[edit]Please move back user:Pahlevun and initiate discussion on talk page. Plot Spoiler (talk) 18:48, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Plot Spoiler: There was consensus to name the article "2011 alleged Iran assassination plot" in November 2011 and the undiscussed page move was done in January 2016, when the word "alleged" was removed. So, I assume the discussion should be on forming a new consensus. I believe the former article name clearly violated WP:POVTITLE, as it was judgmental. Conviction of two Iranians does not mean that it was an Iranian government plot. Pahlevun (talk) 19:00, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- "Adel al-Jubeir assassination plot" (as previously recommended by SilkTork) is probably the cleanest and most accurate NPOV title, given the passage of six years and the salient fact that the plot never was determined to be an act directed by the Iranian Government.
