Wikinews? I watched the news for the last few hours, and nothing of this earthquake was mentioned (ie. it seems to be a non-notable earthquake). Per WP:NOT: Journalism. Wikipedia should not offer first-hand news reports on breaking stories. Wikipedia is not a primary source. However, our sister project Wikinews does exactly that, and is intended to be a primary source. Wikipedia does have many encyclopedia articles on topics of historical significance that are currently in the news, and can be updated with recent verified information. I favor deletion of this article if this is really just a an-earthquake-happened-end-of-story article. – sgeureka t•c 21:45, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
