Do we need this article?
[edit]I wonder if it's wise to create a separate article for these elections. There is already very little to say about them and whatever political implications they may have, these can easily be dealt with in Dutch provincial elections, 2007. I really appreciate your effort to completely cover Dutch politics on en.wikipedia, but I also appreciate lean/meanness. Other opinions?
- I agree with Dengo, better have one good article the 10 bad & small ones C mon 23:05, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- Is there a good title that would encapture both elections? Intangible2.0 10:15, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- The provincial elections are the most important event, the EK elections are just derivative, I suppose we can best redirect this article to the other article. C mon 12:23, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
I think we do need this article. The EK elections are a seperate event, the full results will be available after the event and the implications can be large. The article on the provincial elections needs to be filled with the results and the implications for the provinces, with the implications for the Eerste Kamer in this article. --Gerrit CUTEDH 13:00, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's precisely the reason I created this separate article, yes. —Nightstallion (?) 15:54, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- I find, with C_mon, that the actual political event within the context of Dutch politics was the provicial elections held yesterday, March 7. The consequences this election will have on the composition of the Eerste Kamer can be dealt with under the sub Consequences in that article. Let me put it the other way around: what information do you, Nightstallion and other proponents of this separate article, plan to put in this, thusfar empty, article once the elections are held in May? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dengo (talk • contribs) 19:09, 8 March 2007 (UTC).
