Completely unclear

[edit]

First bit of useful text on this page: "Following the raids..." -- what raids?!? Seems like a section is missing, and the article could do with a summary... Gijs Kruitbosch (talk) 18:42, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bags

[edit]

The article seems to be saying Heathrow lost 20,000 bags as a direct result of the 2006 incident. That doesn't seem right. Lots42 (talk) 11:48, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section has extra information

[edit]

I have tagged this article's lead has having multiple issues. Others identified that the lead is too short, but I think the lead section also has extra information. See MOS:LEAD for purpose of the lead. It provides an accessible overview that summaries the whole article; it does not serve as a background section. Information in the lead should be in the body of the article too. See WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY. The information about what the 2006 transatlantic aircraft plot was and how it was discovered by the Metropolitan Police is only covered in the lead. Please assume Readers are ignorant of the topic you are writing about, generally readers will know nothing about a subject and the article needs to inform them. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:01, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
