Local time

Historical events use local time. This article is a textbook example of why: the day is changed if the event is described with reference to Universal Time Zone, half a world away.--Wetman (talk) 17:17, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And earthquakes are indexed by Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Which was a problem when the Infobox did not clearly distinguish between the two, but the new modifications accommodate both. The problem now is that the Infobox does not (yet!) handle multiple events. ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 22:13, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
