- ... that the Cambridge United team took a cold shower before winning the 1990 Football League Fourth Division play-off Final?
5x expanded by The Rambling Man (talk). Self-nominated at 22:13, 4 March 2021 (UTC).
- Article has been expanded fivefold in the last seven days, is over the required prose size and has no copyvio concerns. The hook is interesting and has an inline citation to a reliable source. User has provided the necessary QPQ, good to go. Kosack (talk) 15:55, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

Route to the Final
- What does "league form" mean?

- The Rambling Man, what does "form" mean? --Usernameunique (talk) 03:03, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- Usernameunique per dictionary: "the state of a sports player or team with regard to their current standard of play." The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 07:43, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- The Rambling Man, the source says that "Cambridge's League form suffered from an FA Cup run that took them as far as the sixth round, where they lost to Crystal Palace. But a late spurt put them seventh in the Fourth Division." So how about "league performance", since that's less ambiguous? And by the way, why would the team's form have suffered from it's FA Cup run? More games meaning less rest? --Usernameunique (talk) 08:03, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- Usernameunique Well yeah. An extra 10 games in the season, like 20% more games... Reworded. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 08:11, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

Background
the first play-off final match to be held at Wembley Stadium
— Of any division? Is this really a reliable source?- Yes it is. Published by the Association of Football Statisticians. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 01:18, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Post-match
the new play-off format
— It's not really clear until here that this was a new format. Worth adding in "Background"?- It was there but it's expanded now. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 09:11, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Hart was replaced by Chris McMenemy (son of Lawrie McMenemy) as head coach and took on the manager's role in April
— How did a manager get replaced with a head coach?- It was presumably an interim appointment, often clubs will work with just coaches or caretaker managers while they find new full-time managers. This phrasing reflects the sources and is not unusual. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 09:11, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
