[edit]Currently it says released in 2004, yet recorded in 2005. Can anyone clarify? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.215.84.107 (talk) 01:46, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Move. We have consensus that the extra disambiguation is unnecessary, as no other songs of this name have articles. I'll include a hat note for any readers looking for other songs. — Cúchullain t/c 13:18, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
1980 (Estelle song) → 1980 (song) – There are no other articles for songs titled "1980", so the "Estelle" disambiguator is unnecessary. I would do the move myself, but "1980 (song)" currently redirects to "1980 (disambiguation)" and I'm unsure whether performing the move would mess up the redirect. Richard3120 (talk) 18:11, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- Meaning? That it would screw up the redirect? Richard3120 (talk) 21:40, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, meaning that although the Polish single has been deleted there are other songs on dab, hence WP:NCM. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:06, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- No problem, I'd seen that the O.S.T.R. single had been deleted but was likely the reason for the disambiguation in the first place, and I knew because of the redirect already in place that this wasn't a straightforward move, which is why I raised it in the first place. No big deal, I'm quite happy to withdraw the request and for an admin to speedily close it – there are far more important things to worry about on Wikipedia than this. - Support because this is the only notable song with this name. SSTflyer 07:10, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- It obviously isn't, 1980 (Pascal Obispo song) was No.3 in Belgium, this one was No.14 in the UK. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:24, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Calidum ¤ 19:33, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose: Clearly there are multiple targets on the disambiguation page, with more potential conflicts as this is not an uncommon song title (as attested by recordings and works listed at MusicBrainz). —Ringbang (talk) 00:44, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support - I hate having to keep stating this: existence DOES NOT equate notability. Unreal7 (talk) 23:46, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
