I have added/restored the abbreviations for the major parties (PNI, PKI etc) for two reasons: firstly because they are often referred to by these abbreviations and secondly because different authors and scholars use different translations of the Indonesian party names (even Feith uses different translations of Perti in different books), so it can be confusing, whereas everybody knows what the PSII is.
