Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was DEFERRED. This RM is suspected to have interfered with the functioning of User:RM bot due to being moved during the RM process, and is being closed in an attempt to repair the bot. If this is unsuccessful, the discussion can be reopened once the bot has been repaired. MatthewHaywood (talk) 21:13, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

18 July 2012 Damascus bombingJuly 2012 Damascus bombingWP:NPOV - Syrian state media says it was suicide bomber, opposition that it was remotely detonated bomb. What we know for sure is that bomb exploded, therefore just bombing. EllsworthSK (talk) 16:38, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Which are quoting state media and now started reporting about opposition claim [1] [2]. This is nothing more than WP:IDONTLIKEIT and POV pushing. EllsworthSK (talk) 16:44, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see that EllsworthSK has been begging for support.--DanielUmel (talk) 16:55, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think the above discussion should not be reopened at this point because it was originally opened as a move from 18 July 2012 Damascus suicide bombing. So some of the comments above are in support of a move that has already happened, this move happened while this requested move was still open. So anyone still wanting this article moved, should open a new request below. The cause of the RM bot's disappearance has not yet been determined. Wbm1058 (talk) 19:16, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Connections with May 2012 claims

[edit]

As it can be seen in this link, the officials killed or wounded in this bombing had been subjects of the FSA's claims about killings in May 2012. I put this message and link just for those interested in the events.Egeymi (talk) 07:36, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Time of event

[edit]

Has anyone seen a time of this event? There is not one in our entry, and I have not seen it on the usual mostly reliable sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dioxinfreak (talkcontribs) 17:11, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Terrorism"?

[edit]

It sounds rather POV to label this incident "terrorism" or "murder" considering it was executed within the context of civil war, against a criminal regime responsible for murdering tens of thousands of innocent civilians by shooting, bombing, torture in prisons, etc. How about the July 1944 bombing against Hitler's government, was that "terrorism"? Or the bombing last November which assassinated several ISIS leaders, in the view of ISIS this surely was "terrorism" and "murder".
