Lousy Article, Here's Why
[edit]According the the BMI Website, Holland-Dozier-Holland of Motown fame are co-writers of the song. Further, it's legal title, according to BMI is "One Two Three." Unfortunately, the Library of Congress Website doesn't have online access for records pre-1978. Beautiful, huh? If someone near DC, with no axe to grind, could visit ye old Library and research this, it would be loverly--thanks upfront. If not, I'm consider renaming and ripping the guts out of the article. Looks like a whitewash to me, in more ways than one. And I didn't think of the pun initially! Regards Tapered (talk) 06:05, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- Oops. I flew off the handle after reading the info-box. I've written to BMI to find out if Holland Dozier Holland collect royalties on the song, which would contradict some of Barry's statement. If I learn anything I can verify, I will modify the article. Tapered (talk) 06:26, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
