Moved. See general agreement to use the qualifier, "Seungri song" with the article title. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 18:00, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
1, 2, 3! → 1, 2, 3! (Seungri song) – Sceptical that the Korean-language Korea-charting song 셋 셀테니 (1, 2, 3!) is the only time ! has ever been used after 1, 2, 3 in world history or that the ! is enough to indicate (Seungri song) to English readers. Discogs album/single cover search produces other records https://www.discogs.com/Playahitty-1-2-3-Train-With-Me/release/202771 1, 2, 3! (Train with Me) by Playahitty, which charted at 4 in Italy, this was 13 in South Korea. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:12, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
- Support - the exclamation point is such a trivial detail here as can be seen in the list of entries at 1-2-3. Move and redirect to disambiguation page. --Gonnym (talk) 07:54, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose as unnecessary WP:OVERPRECISION. No other article on the dab page uses an exclamation point, so redirecting the current title to the dab page would be a disservice to readers. And leaving it to redirect back here serves no purpose. A hatnote would be more than sufficient. Station1 (talk) 06:17, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- For reference the multiple minor variations and trivial details on the dab page include:
- 1-2-3, band from Edinburgh, later known as Clouds (60s rock band)
- One Two Three, a 1980s electronic disco group produced by Bobby Orlando
- 1-2-3 (APO Hiking Society album)
- 1-2-3 (Howling Hex album)
- I-II-III (Icon of Coil albums), a set of three albums released in 2006
- "1-2-3" (Len Barry song), 1965
- "1, 2, 3" (Sofía Reyes song), 2018
- "1-2-3" (The Chimes song), 1990
- "1-2-3" (Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine song), 1988
- "1, 2, 3!" (Seungri song) 2018
- "1. 2. 3. ...", a 2006 song by Bela B. and Charlotte Roche Bingo (Bela B. album)
- "123" (Nikki Laoye song), 2012
- "One, Two, Three!", a 2005 song by Ch!pz from The World of Ch!pz
- "One Two Three / The Matenrō Show", a 2012 song by Morning Musume
- "One, Two, Three, Go!", a 2008 song by Belanova
- "One Two Three", a 2012 song by E-girls
- "1, 2, 3! (Train with Me)" by Playahitty
- So having (Seungri song) serves the purpose of making clear that is a Korean-language song by Seungri rather than anything else. That isn't a disservice to anyone. Those actually wanting the song will be helped. Neutral on redirecting to dab or WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT, not the main issue here. Although given that the higher charting English-language Playahitty song is "1, 2, 3!" without (Train with Me) on the remix cover, maybe heading to the dab makes more sense. - The dab page is 1-2-3 and those are all variations of "1-2-3". None of them are variations of "1, 2, 3!" It is a disservice to send someone typing "1, 2, 3!" to a dab page instead of the article they want. Station1 (talk) 04:06, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
- For reference the multiple minor variations and trivial details on the dab page include:
- Support: It's too small a detail. No one playing a song on the radio is going to say "Now listen to this great song called numeral 1 comma space numeral 2 comma space numeral 3 exclamation point." What they're going to say is "Now listen to this great song from Seungri called one two three." Print sources are also unlikely to consistently use this form – e.g., the Billboard article with the video that is cited in the article doesn't include the exclamation mark. —BarrelProof (talk) 11:58, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- But all of those people are currently sent to the dab page. This RM will not change that in any way. It will only affect, negatively, those who do type the title exactly and correctly. Station1 (talk) 04:06, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
