Taio Kanai (金井大旺, Kanai Taiō, born 28 September 1995) is a Japanese athlete specialising in the high hurdles.[1] He finished fourth at the 2017 Summer Universiade.
His personal best in the 110 metres hurdles was 13.34 (+0.3 m/s) set in Machida in 2020, until his 13.16 (+1.7) national record set in Hiroshima in 2021.
