Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital [1] is an upcoming meta found footage horror film starring Enrique Gil, Jane de Leon, Alexa Miro, MJ Lastimosa, Raf Pineda and Ryan "Zarckaroo" Azurin. It is based from the 2018 Korean movie Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum.[2]

The film initially known under the full title Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital was directed by Kerwin Go and produced under Reality MM Studios, Inc. It has Kerwin Go, Dustin Celestino, and Leovic Arceta as its writers.[3] Immerse Entertainment is also involved in the production.[1]

The film is an adaptation of the 2018 South Korean film Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum.[4] Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital dubbed as the Philippines’ very first meta found footage horror film, local audiences and critics-alike are already looking forward to the release of the film. Following the format of the Korean original, the group of Filipino amateur ghosthunters will explore the notorious Xinglin General Hospital in Tainan, which is reputed to be one of the most haunted places in Taiwan.[5]

As one of the ten official entries of the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival, Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital is set to have its theatrical release in cinemas in the Philippines on December 25, 2024.[6]
