Siyahun (Persian: سياهون)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarchehan Rural District of the Central District of Sarchehan County, Fars province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Korehi,[5] now a city.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 176 in 34 households, when it was in the former Sarchehan District of Bavanat County.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 164 people in 39 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 174 people in 51 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Sarchehan County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[9]
